Africa's Community Mobility Movement

Restoring Dignity Through Mobility

Your Bike Club is creating pathways to education, employment, entrepreneurship and healthier communities by using bicycles as a catalyst for opportunity. This is more than cycling. This is a movement.

Our Why

We Were Never Built To Create Cyclists. We Were Built To Restore Dignity.

Your Bike Club began with one simple question: how do we restore dignity to people who have been left behind? Our journey started in South Africa's last-mile delivery sector, where we helped unemployed young people access work through training, licensing and employment partnerships.

What we discovered changed everything. The greatest barrier wasn't a lack of jobs, talent or ambition — it was a lack of access. Millions of South Africans possess extraordinary potential, yet remain excluded from opportunity because mobility, education, confidence and practical skills remain out of reach.

We realised we couldn't simply prepare people for jobs. We needed to build the pathway that leads them there. That became the beginning of Your Bike Club. Today, we are building Africa's Community Mobility Movement.

Our Belief

The Bicycle Is The Tool. Opportunity Is The Outcome.

A bicycle can take a child to school. It can help a young person reach their first job, become an entrepreneur's first business asset, reduce transport costs for an entire family, improve health and connect communities. But the bicycle is never the destination. Dignity is.

How It Works

One Movement. Endless Pathways.

At YBC every programme connects to the next opportunity. Someone may first join a community ride and learn confidence. Later they attend a bicycle maintenance workshop and develop practical skills. They progress into our Bicycle Academy, obtain mobility skills and work readiness, and become mechanics, delivery riders, tour guides, business owners and community leaders — eventually returning to mentor the next generation. This is how communities transform, one journey at a time.

Where Opportunity Begins

The YBC Hub

Every YBC Hub is more than a bicycle shop. It is a place where dignity is restored — where children learn to ride, unemployed youth develop skills, entrepreneurs launch businesses, mechanics repair bicycles, families gather, and neighbours become friends.

Tourism That Gives Back

Ride My Hood

Ride My Hood introduces visitors to communities through the people who know them best. Every ride celebrates local history, food, music, art, culture, entrepreneurship and stories.

Every booking creates income for local guides, supports neighbourhood businesses and strengthens community pride. Tourism becomes economic development.

Our Impact

We Don't Measure Success By Bicycles Distributed. We Measure It By Lives Transformed.

A child who discovers confidence. A young person who earns their first income. A mechanic who starts a business. A family whose transport costs are reduced. A community that grows stronger together. Every bicycle represents another opportunity created.
